Periodically Denver Public Schools will advertise in newspapers, journals and periodicals a Request for Information (RFI), a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a Request for Quote (RFQ) when new vendors are required to fill a need within the purchasing department of the district. For example, when voters approved the 2008 General Obligation Bond general contractors, architects, engineers and lead consultants were asked to pre-qualify for work via RFI's.
