| The Grounds Crew scope of work includes, but is not limited to the following tasks:
- Arboreal and Landscape Maintenance (Tree Trimming, Tree Hazards, Removal, Shrubs/Bushes)
- Asphalt and Concrete (Pothole Repair, Patches, New Concrete Pours/Patches)
- Athletic Field Maintenance (Aeration, Fertilization, Irrigation, Mowing, Marking/Painting)
- Heavy Equipment Mechanics
- Heavy Equipment Operators (Trash Truck drivers, Front end loaders, backhoes, graders)

- Playground Maintenance
- Scheduling
- Small Engine Repair

- Trash Removal (click here for trash routes)
There are 12 different surfaces that the Grounds Department is responsible for, including both routine and urgent maintenance and repair. Attached to each of the various surfaces is a picture showing the material detail, along with the total square footage encompassed by the 151 district sites.

The total surface area of these materials is 71,528,516 sq. ft, meaning there are 1642 acres which the Grounds Crew is responsible for.
